I've been drawings pictures most of my life. As a child it was pencil drawings of trucks and spaceships, as a teen it was dragons and wizards. Unfortunately, I stopped for several years while I was deciding "what I was going to be when I grew up." Eventually a close friend convinced me to start again. When I did, I picked up a pen and started drawing portraits. Over the past 20 years my style has changed a bit, but the human face remains my inspiration. Whether the final piece is an expression of joy or sadness, the process of putting black dots on a white page is where I find peace.
